The Core
The Love-O-Lution concept is rooted in the belief that food, architecture, art and living can be approached in unique and sustainable ways—a dream for a better future. Over the past five years, we have witnessed this dream come to life through the efforts of many inspiring individuals. These people thrive because they have built strong, supportive communities and share a unified vision for change.
The word that defines our approach to food, building, and living is Permaculture. At its core, permaculture means creating systems where everything serves multiple purposes while staying in harmony with nature. We embrace organic food production through food forests that boost biodiversity. This approach pairs with energy-neutral architecture built from locally sourced, natural materials, creating sustainable, functional, and beautiful living spaces.
Additionally, these spaces can serve as hubs for education through experience and knowledge sharing, artists in residence who leave behind stunning works of art. Food forests can also produce crafting materials for souvenirs.
Such projects not only enhance the area's aesthetics but also attract tourism, transforming these spaces into destinations for both experience and admiration. In fact, food forests have demonstrated an ability to reduce local temperatures by several degrees Celsius, showcasing the tangible, regenerative power of nature-inspired solutions.
In the forest nothing goes to waste, and everything has a purpose.
This is how nature works and we are nature.

How our paths aligned
It was 2019, the path of Eve and Rayo had led them to stumble upon the Bosbeweging. Here they met many inspiring people who introduced them to organic farming and community living, two of them were Jurjen & Rosa. Jurjen also happened to be a water management expert for (food) forests. Now they are joining forces to create food forests and more.
In 2023 Eve & Rayo met with Rose Baros from Living Soil Aruba. Later Rayo caught up with his old friend Ryan Oduber that reminded him that he and his friend, architect Luis Huerta, had launched the Aldea project 10 years ago, and that it was in need of some love and attention. After reading their original plans, Rayo immediately recognized that they had created a Permaculture project, which also had striking similarities with the Love-O-Lution plans developed by himself and Eve, as well as with Rose Barros's vision for agroforestry on Aruba. Since then, there has been many meetings, chats, and video calls, and all of them have agreed that we want to make the Aldea project happen, along with many others.
Inspired by wonderful people who are living the same dream like us, we aim to create more Love-O-lution farms and connect people who share this dream. We want to invite you to take a look around and meet the tribe.
We will be adding information as we go along with the process.
So come back soon and stay connected for the next developments on our projects.
