The Aldea Dream: Ryan Oduber, Alydia Wever and Luis Huertas

The land in Ayo, Aruba, where the Aldea project will come to life, holds deep sentimental value. It is the very ground where Ryan Oduber and his sister played as children—a cherished piece of land passed down by their father.
Together with his spouse, Alydia Wever, Ryan envisioned transforming this land into a space for food growing, connection through art, and sharing with the community.

Ryan also shares a long-standing bond with Luis Huerta, a friendship that began during their study years and is rooted in a shared passion for sustainable architecture. Luis played a crucial role as a collaborator and innovator in shaping the Aldea vision, a journey that started back in 2014.
